Very nice concept. I read in the comments that the skull is suppose to be from the same creature on the left. Though I see some big differences. for example. The creature has a double nose, which means he's suppose to have 4 nose holes in the skull as well. His frown looks different as well and his eye socket looks a lot bigger than the one on the skull. The cheekbones also look different.
Colors:
The colors look nice, especially the rainbow colors on his face, other than that he seems a bit too shiny too me as if he's form some kind of marble instead of skin.
Lighting:
Can't tell where the light comes from. It seems to come from his left side.. but his visible side (his right half) also shows highlights.
Painting technique:
Nicely done on the mouth, his hair is done pretty sloppy though. The skull is nice for a speedy as well, but I think you can do better. I'd say this is a sketch and if you revisited this painting for another 2 hours it'll be so much better.
Canvas:
Not too exciting, but will do.
You could try and make the background white instead of pink, too see how that turns out ^^
