Halo: Lost Forerunners - 008Juarez pushed and pulled against the restraints that pinned her to the chair, but could not get herself free. Her ankles and wrists were beginning to turn red due to hours of struggling.
The UNSC soldiers had tried to interrogate her, but she said nothing, as she had for nineteen years. She had nothing to say to them To her, they were heartless and cruel monsters that would blend in well with the brutes.
Juarez stopped and sighed. Why did they want her restrained in the first place? All she wanted to do was go home and hide from them until they were killed by the jungle inhabitants, starved, or whatever
she wanted all of them gone.
Juarez leaned back into her chair and looked up at the light. It was dim and eerie, casting shadows against the walls of the small room. It was almost like a nightmare one of the ones where you're trapped and cannot get out, wondering if anyone would ever find you

The six year old girl stared in fearful awe through the window of the steadily sinking suburban. Blood from ther cut on her forehead stained her blonde curls and dripped into her watery aqua eyes.
Moments before, her parents and baby brother were on their way to meet her uncle Frances, who was returining home from a military release. The next thing she knew, the vehicle was thrown off the bridge and into the river by a loud and bright explosion.
Her parents remained in thier seats covered in blood, but they were dead. Her baby brother, also presumed dead, was no where to be seen.
Brilliant blue and pink lights continued to dance above the surface of the water as they sank. She screamed as more vehicles and torn up bodies entered the river that was becoming red with blood.
